What a whirlwind it has been! I left Australia at the end of May 2024 to seek out new experiences and knowledge to help improve my horse management and riding while experiencing the biggest events in the world.

Stepping into the Uk eventing scene was like stepping into a different world, everything is elite, professional and no stone is left unturned. Events are everywhere and all the time, if you were crazy enough you could compete everyday of the week and in multiple countries. Talk about spoilt for choice!!
I have been lucky enough to not only groom at many one day events, show jumping days and combined training days but also for Sam at the Luhmuhlen 5* event and Blenheim Palace International surrounded the best riders and grooms in the world.

I won’t lie, my 9 months were some of the longest days, earliest wake ups and hardest work I have ever done. The standard and commitment it takes to do this job professionally is outmatched! By submerging myself into this environment I really feel like it pushed and challenged me to change my thinking and outlook on a range of training and management techniques.
I am really excited to share all the things I have learnt along the way through this blog! Including being able to compete at an event before heading home at the end of February.

But for now, look out for a update on life since returning back to Aus! 🇦🇺
